Our family beach vacation this year started off with a bang!
My sister, Beth and her fiance, Erik got married!
How do you do that at the beach while on vacation?!?
My beautiful sister, ready to walk down the aisle and marry the amazing man God has sent into her life... perfect for her and Anderson.
Dr. Armstrong and (soon to be) Dr. Post. Dental partners by trade and best friends by choice.
Grandpa and Mimi with their crew...
The matchmaker and the officiant, Candy....
Last minute instructions before heading down the aisle. I love that Anderson is standing on the table for this! They were amazing, all three of them could not have done a better job!
"Goin' to the penguins and we're
gonna get ma-a-a-rried!"
Erik welcoming all the guests and setting the tone for an evening of celebrating and fun...The new family (Erik, Bethany, Anderson, Brooke, and Zach) saying their vows.
I do.
A surprise serenade by my sister's dental office- the place where the happy couple met.
Then it was time for dinner and (to quote their invitation) "awkward, but enthusiastic dancing"!
Mr. and Mrs.
The new family of five...
Julia in awe. One of her favorite places to be...
One of the amazing treats of being at the aquarium is all the things to see and do. They even provide volunteers so the kids can pet the sting rays and other sea creatures...The sea turtle was incredibly social! In dozens of trips to the aquarium none of us have ever even seen him. Apparently he likes a party because he came right up to the glass and was interacting with all the kids...
Emotional toasts to the happy couple...
The food stations and tables were set up throughout the building. Everything from prime rib to salmon to a seafood bar to salads to cupcakes, to ice cream sundaes to chicken nuggets, mac n cheese and m&ms for the kiddos...
Then it was time to get down. We had a fabulous night of fun catching up with dear old friends, laughing, dressing up, and dancing. What a night!
Last call for one very sleepy little pirate...
It was a night we will all talk about and remember for always. What an amazing way to start our week at the beach. Thanks to all the friends and family that came from near and far to make it an unbelievable night. Decades of loved ones under one roof for a very special reason. Welcome to the family Erik, Brooke, and Zach! We are so blessed by each of you and could not imagine more perfect additions to our family. Love you all!

Or if you want to see some crazy, fun here is a link to the
