Daddy-Daughter Butterfly Dance

The Winston-Salem Children's Museum puts on two great father-daughter events every spring. Daddy-Daughter dances are very popular in this area and all the little girls look forward to it every year. Julia is no different. She has been going to the one held at our church but is intimidated by the size of the event and is ready for bed way before it ends. When we heard about these dances we were so excited to try. They are perfect for the under 10 crowd. For $12 admission they are treated to a pizza dinner, decorating cookies, storytime, playtime in the museum, and dancing to fun oldies music. We bought tickets in January and Julia and her friends could not wait for the day of the Butterfly Dance!

The day of, she couldn't wait to get ready. She was actually dressed and ready to go 4 hours early!

When did my little girl grow up so much?!
All the lovely ladies...

It was a wonderful night full of fun, smiles, special moments, and sweet memories! Thanks WSCM for a great night. They will see you again next year!
