Christmas Day

Christmas morning the kids were so excited to reach the last day of our Jesse Tree advent devotions. They have been anxiously waiting to hang baby Jesus at the top of the tree. We brought the last few ornaments with us to PA. Julia was the one who hung him up this year.
Happy Birthday Jesus! The greatest gift in our lives and the reason for all our HOPE and joy.
Julia's wish for Christmas was a stuffed animal to join the many she already loves and cares for. This little puppy happily joined her family.
...and she loved her gift from us- a horse barn!
Carter received several new American history/war board games...
...and from us a LaserTag set. This Nerf model has been a big hit in the family with young and old alike! It's so easy to use and a ton of fun.

Then we went up to Mammy and Pappy's house to spread some Christmas cheer. They were so excited by their pictures of the kiddos and new drawers for their kitchen cabinets. We made them cry.
Julia loved her new horses for her stable. She can actually paint them herself! Mammy is an artist herself and has passed on the genes to Julia.
Carter was absorbed in his new book...

That night we had my dad's extended family over to the house. My dad is one of 5 children and his mother is one of 6 children so the crowd is large. At last count there were more than 50 people here from 4 months to 87 years old- the blessings of family overflow. A great time was had by all. So thankful for these occasions when we can all be together!
