I am elated to report that the community has banded together- friends, family, and strangers- have united to work God's miracle for the Thornton family! On Friday they moved into their new home, together as a family, as they prepare to send their sweet Kate to her forever home. Kate's comdition is rapidly deteriorating and she has only days left on this earth. There is so little anyone here can do for them, at this point, but the one thing that really mattered has been achieved. And it is amazing! (The money was collected to make the down payment to the bank. Fundraising continues to pay off the loan.)
