We are happy to say Julia slept well last night and woke up fever-free and hungry! Yay! She has been doing very well today and we were thrilled to not have to return to the hospital. So either the antibiotic infusion did the trick or her body was able to fight off the virus itself. She is still showing no signs of any illnesses. As long as none of her cultures grow anything in the next few days, she is in the clear. We will head back in on Monday for chemo.

...for a great cause. St Baldrick's is the top volunteer-driven fundraising organization for pediatric cancer research. We are so excited to announce that he has met AND EXCEEDED his goal of $2000!!! A huge thank you to all of you who are helping to find better treatment and cures for kids with cancer. Every small step forward is huge in the lives of these kids and their families. The money goes directly to funding research grants, fellow, scholars, and COG research- including those at UNC, Duke, and Wake Forest hospitals right here at home.
