Change of Plans

The anesthesia team was not pleased with her night and the fact that they were not called. They gave her an epidural bollus and rate increase and went to find the toradol she was promised 24 hours ago. When they called the surgeon- he decided to scrap it all. They took out the epidural, gave her morphine in the port, and are getting the toradol up here, too.

She has been amazing through it all. She is my little hero. She has not cried during any of the procedures since we've been here-except the last one when they ripped off the epidural while she was asleep. She is amazing. It broke my heart last night to see her in so much pain. I cannot fathom what her abdomen must be feeling like right now. We pray for a restful day and success with these new drugs on board.

Praying for increased comfort and that all of you can get some rest, especially Julia. Again, thank you for the continued updates- we are traveling, but we feel blessed to be able to check in and understand what is happening. Hugs to all...

YAY for morphine! Hopefully that will help more with the pain and she will be able to rest. We are praying for you guys everytime I think of you- which is often! Your attitude through all this is amazing! We will definately be praying for Carter and how he deals with and understands what is going on.

Praise, praise - sometimes the fewer doctors making decisions the better. Dinner is set to arrive at 6pm from Burke Street Pizza - pizza, salad, dessert and drinks... it is all paid for so please don't "re-pay: the delivery guy (pizza place says this sometimes happens). We love you guys and are in our prayers. Call us if you need absolutely anything. The Coopers
